EDITING YOUR DEMO
The ClickPath editor lets you refine every screen before sharing your project.
ORGANIZE YOUR SCREENS
Use the screen list to:
• Drag screens into a new order
• Duplicate a screen
• Move a screen up or down
• Delete unnecessary screens
• Replace a screenshot while preserving its instructions
• Add screenshots or screens from another project
• Open an existing ClickPath project
ADD INSTRUCTIONS
Give your demo a clear title and description. Each screen can include:
• A hotspot description explaining what to select
• Additional on-screen instructions
• PDF-only details printed beneath the screenshot
• Formatted text, lists, and links
EDIT HOTSPOTS
Hotspots show viewers where to click.
Use “Auto-select hotspot” to place one automatically, “Draw hotspot” to create your own, or “Restore recorded hotspot” to return to the originally captured area.
You can resize and reposition the hotspot and move its label to a clearer location.
SIMULATE TYPING
Select “Place typing area” to demonstrate text being entered into a captured field. You can control the displayed text, speed, delay, styling, and appearance.
Simulated typing appears only in the finished demonstration. It does not enter information into or modify the real webpage.
REDACT SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Select “Redact area,” then draw over any private information that should not appear in the finished project.
Redactions are permanently applied to finished HTML, PDF, and video exports. Always preview the project carefully before sharing it.
ADD NARRATION
Each screen can include its own voiceover.
You can:
• Record directly using your microphone
• Write or reuse a narration script
• Attach a downloaded MP3
• Copy a script and open an optional text-to-speech service
ClickPath does not automatically send scripts or recordings to a text-to-speech provider.
PREVIEW YOUR WORK
Select “Preview” to experience the walkthrough as a viewer before exporting it. Check the instructions, hotspots, simulated typing, transitions, and redactions on every screen.
