Use the pinching technique to make the bottom section of your cupcake container.
It should measure about 6cm wide on the top rim and 5cm for the base rim.
Take about a palm size amount of clay and start rolling into a sausage. Then roll it out even more to a thick rope. Be as neat and even as possible.
Coil the clay "rope" to make the lid of your cupcake container.
Option to add toppings if you finish the cupcake on schedule.
If you sketch your cupcake toppings before you make them, you will likely have a better outcome.
Keep the toppings large and make sure you attach it to your cupcake lid with a well-made slip.
Paint your cupcakes with acrylic paint as neatly as possible. Remember simple designs will still look beautiful when it is neatly done.
After the paint dries, we will add a coat of varnish to make it look glossy!
