Watch the videos before you start on your cupcake artwork.
Plan your cupcake design based on the clay colours. It is important to plan your design before you start as the clay dries very quickly and you need to make and attach the decorative details and toppings right after you finish the base or the lid. Plan your design and time.
Here are the materials you are provided (see photo below):
3 packets of air-dry clay (take 3 more packets home after the session)
2 clay tools
1 wooden spoon
1 plastic fork
1 corrugated cardboard strip

Use the pinching technique to make the bottom section of your cupcake container.

Use your palm size to roll the clay into a sausage. Then roll it out even more to a thick rope. Be as even and consistent as possible so that your coil will look nicer.

Make and add decorative details.
