My interest in games first developed with my love for video games ever since I was a kid, as far back to me being five years old. From there, and watching other gamers on YouTube, I really had a desire to make games myself in some way, and thought that coding would be a good avenue to explore. Unfortunately, learning code bounced right off me, and I gave up on the prospect for a while, until I came to Elon University and learned about their Game Design Minor program. In the program, they have concentrations so you can focus on what you do best, which for me was audio design and music. Ultimately, those were the roles I took on in our Capstone project of making a video game! I used a small amount of knowledge with Unity, but mostly pulled from my experience with DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) like Pro Tools and Audacity, as well as notation software for music like MuseScore.
