Find 4 Websites and Critique them

Instructions

Explore the internet and look for websites that stand out — either for great design or poor design.

Consider elements such as layout, color scheme, navigation, font choices, loading speed, and overall user experience.

Select Your Websites

• Choose 2 well-designed websites that you find visually appealing and easy to use.

• Choose 2 poorly- designed websites that you find visually unappealing

Websites may include business sites, portfolios, online stores, blogs, or any public website.

Document Each Website

For each of the 4 websites, provide the following:

• The name of the website and its URL

• A screenshot of the homepage

• A short list of 3 pros (things done well)

• OR A short list of 3 cons (things done poorly or that could be improved)

Present Your Findings

• Upload your work to a new page on your website

• Make sure screenshots are clearly visible and properly sized

• Make people want to read it

Requirements

• Include exactly 2 well-designed and 2 poorly designed websites

• Contain a screenshot of each website's homepage

• Include 3 pros OR 3 cons for every website

• Have the website name and URL clearly labeled for each entry

• Be neat, organized, and easy to read
