The Management Advisory Group (MAG) provides strategic oversight and ensures alignment with CJCARE's mission and vision. The Management Advisory Group serves as a key liaison between CJCARE and its partner universities, with members acting as advocates for the Centre within their respective academic and institutional settings.

The MAG will consist of the following members:

Dr. Christopher Yost

The Vice-President of Research, University of Regina

Dr. Amin Asfari

The Director of CJCARE

The MAG is responsible for :

Selecting its chair and establishing the procedures by which it will operate,
Meeting at least once per year to provide strategic guidance and oversight,
Supporting and advising the Director of CJCARE on any issue when required or requested,
Being informed of all appointments to CJCARE, including the appointment of researchers,
Facilitating necessary administrative processes at the University of Regina to ensure CJCARE’s operations are effective and compliant with institutional policies,
Ensuring that CJCARE is aware of national, provincial, and local funding opportunities, regulations, and initiatives that may benefit or impact the Centre,
Covering its expenses equally, with funding support from the University of Regina.
