The time I spent in Blacksburg, VA was instrumental in my growth in the sporting industry. The staff helped me gain an understanding of how to budget for a high-caliber program coming off a sweet 16 appearance.
Participated in an internship and job shadow with the University of Tennessee at Martin, coordinated by the head athletic director Kurt McGuffin. I was able to get hands-on experience in crucial aspects such as compliance, external operations, and development through fundraising.
Over the duration of the 2019 fall semester, I campaigned and promoted a successful Niagara University Men’s Basketball promotion schedule to the greater Western New York area leading to increased in ticket sales and more foot traffic on social media pages and athletics website.
