Code of Ethics comparing our two organizations
Review the Code of Ethics that you dropped into the Discussion Board
Why did you pick that ethical code from that organization?
I chose this organization because the NHL doesn’t have an official Code of Ethics, but they have a set of principles they abide by. They also hope others in the hockey community, not just professional level, will follow them as well.
I went with the ABCA Code of Ethics. The American baseball coaches association was my first choice as I have aspirations to be involved in some form of coaching baseball as the years go on. The ABCA stems from travel baseball all the way up to the professional level.
How do your organization's ethical issues compare to each other? Any similarities/differences
Similarities: bring positive attitudes for positive experiences, focus on an individual's physical, emotional, and cognitive well being over winning, and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
Differences: CJ’s is more detailed and broken down into sections, Autumn’s is more broad.
What do you think is the most challenging ethical issue to enforce for an employer on this list?
Focusing on an individual’s physical, emotional, and cognitive well being over winning because they might get caught up in trying to win all the time and ignore what is going on with players.
What do you think is the most challenging ethical issue for an employee to follow on this list?
Providing a safe, inclusive, and positive environment because some people hold prejudices against others and there is often harassment and people may not realize they’re doing it.

Ethics Discussion Question two:
What do you think is the most challenging ethical issue to enforce for an employer on this list? The trust factor relationship between the employee and employer. The company expects you to be honest with logging hours while providing minimal supervision for fact checking.
What do you think is the most challenging ethical issue for an employee to follow on this list? In this situation they mention the coworker being a friend of his. The most difficult part is confronting him about his unethical behavior toward logging his work hours.
What’s the hardest part to monitor? What each employee is doing when management is not around.
Compare and contrast? While both parties may think they are doing the right thing it becomes challenging when friendships come into question. Each part needs to take a step back and ask themselves if what they are doing is ethical or not
