Purpose statement for Lake Wobegon Sports Booster:
The Lake Wobegon Sports Booster club serves a growing population of 80,000 individuals with many different ethnicities and backgrounds within the community, providing an outlet for all ages to come under one roof at the Lake Wobegon Recreation Center. The main driving force for the Lake Wobegon Sports Booster is to promote a positive and enjoyable environment for those in the community, allowing all those involved to feel empowered.
Indemnification statement:
Being that the Lake Wobegon Recreation Center is volunteer dominated and acts almost as a nonprofit organization like your local YMCA, having an indemnification statement is very important to have in the case of damage, or injury to help the LWRC stay protected from any liability or potential lawsuits that may arise.
Indemnification agreement:
This is an Indemnification agreement with __(Participant)__ and The Lake Wobegon Sports Booster club and Lake Wobegon Recreation Center.
Upon signing this document, I understand that I hold both The Lake Wobegon Sports Booster Club and Lake Wobegon Recreation Center blameless for any burden/loss of property keeping them protected from any liability of injuries that may occur while participating in any physical activities on the premises.
Claims:
Members of LWRC hereby agree to indemnify and hold the party unaccountable of association and its staff, volunteers, officers and officials, from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, awards, costs, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees). Before physical activities can begin, please take this into consideration as once signed you are liable for any and all of these items listed above and may be subjected to them over your time spent at Lake Wobegon Recreation Center.

Employee qualification and behavior codes:
Being that LWRC acts as one of the largest multi sport complexes in the region, this in turn makes the job fast paced.
Qualifications:
Must be group oriented and be able to collaborate via email/text message
Strong communication skills
Computer literacy
Strong English recommended (some Spanish is highly recommended but not a requirement)
Equipment management
Event planning
Up to date CPR training and all certifications required upon start date
2-4 year degree in business or sport related field is preferred but not required
Behavior code of conduct:
Employees represent the organization both inside and outside the workplace. The LWRC does not condone any unethical actions and will result in termination on first strike offence. LWRC is a place for the community to feel unjudged and themselves, no profanity by employees as well as sarcastic remarks will be tolerated. As a cohesive unit we are striving to be the example for others in the community to follow.
Prohibited at all times:
Tobacco of any sorts
Smoking and E-cigarettes
Inappropriate clothing with vulgar language on it
Guns or knives
Alcohol
All drugs
Non service animals
Participant behavior codes and guidelines:
I understand that I am responsible for my attitude, behavior and participation to help everyone at the LWRC have a good experience.
I agree to meet these program expectations:
Listen to staff when they are giving instructions or sharing information and treat everyone with respect.
Communicate with staff and ask questions when I am confused. If you or others around you encounter an uncomfortable circumstance contact the nearest representative for assistance.
Be willing to try new ideas from coaches and instructors as they are here on a volunteer basis.
Treat equipment and the facility as it was your own property.
Keeping your hands to yourself policy as there will be no violence tolerated on the premises.
Failure to meet the LWRC expectations can/will result in the termination of membership or being removed from the premises for a 24 hour period while the action is being reviewed by the Lake Wobegon Sports Booster Club.
Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement:
I,_______hereby release, waive, and discharge my legal right to pursue lawsuits against the Lake Wobegon Sports Boosters and the Lake Wobegon Recreation Center, staff, volunteers as well as any other members associated with the organization. Releasing any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or any of the property belonging to me

Lease Agreement:
This lease agreement is between the shareholders of the Lake Wobegon Recreation Center and the party of ______ seeking to rent out the LWRC’s many facilities features

Pricing upon each is subject to change depending on seasons and available from leagues and other organizations going on.
$150 per hour for ice hockey rink
$100 per hour for outdoor complexes
$75 per hour for indoor basketball courts
$25 per hour for horseshoes, shuffleboard and conference rooms
Once signed you are locked in and obligated to pay the cost of designed hours agreed upon for field and complex usage. A 48 hour notice is required for cancellations to receive money back.
