See the richness of our heritage

We have in our area 381 buildings listed by Historic England, of which 3 are Grade I and 42 are Grade II*, the rest being Grade II. There are also 10 Conservation Areas and 7 monuments. The details are in the spreadsheet below, sorted by grade, and then by name.

We have made some alterations to the listing wording used by Historic England in order to make the sorting of groups more effective. Some of the entries originate from old records prior to the establishment of Historic England and may be out-dated, so we would be pleased to hear of any errors or omissions - please email: information@halifaxcivictrust.org
