Abuse Examples:

Making decisions outside of your authority.
Favoring friends or excluding others from activities based on personal bias.
1.2 Consequences of Rank Abuse
Punishments:
Members caught abusing their rank may face:
Demotion to a lower rank or position.
Temporary suspension of privileges.
Permanent removal from their role.
2.1 Definition of Cliques
Cliques:
The formation of exclusive groups within the community that intentionally separate themselves from others is not allowed.
2.2 Negative Impact of Cliques
Why Prohibited:
Cliques can create divisions and make others feel unwelcome or excluded, negatively impacting the community’s atmosphere. They can lead to:
Favoritism in decisions.
Isolation of newer or less experienced members.
In-group vs. out-group dynamics that reduce collaboration.
2.3 Socialization Encouraged
Encouragement of Inclusivity:
Members are encouraged to socialize and include others in activities and discussions, fostering an open and friendly environment.
3.1 Eligibility for Sub-Divisions
Rank Requirement:
To join a sub-division within your primary department (e.g., specialized units like SWAT, K9, Air Unit, etc.), you must first achieve the rank of Officer/Deputy/State Trooper/Firefighter or higher.
3.2 Reason for Rank Requirement
Skill Development:
This ensures members have the necessary experience, training, and understanding of the basic department structure before specializing.
3.3 Application Process
Sub-Division Entry:
Some sub-divisions may have specific application or testing processes that must be followed to join. Check with your department supervisors for details.
4.1 Vehicle, Uniform, and Weapon Regulations
Strict Adherence:
Members must follow the designated vehicle, uniform, and weapon guidelines for their department or sub-division.
4.2 Importance of Structure
Why It’s Important:
This ensures a cohesive and realistic roleplay experience. Uniformity is key in maintaining professionalism, ensuring roleplay consistency, and avoiding confusion during patrols or other community activities.
4.3 Violation of Guidelines
Consequences:
Failure to adhere to these structures may result in:
A verbal warning or counseling from a supervisor.
Temporary suspension from patrols or department activities.
Removal from a sub-division or demotion within the department.
5.1 Clear Communication
Working Microphone:
Members must have a functional, audible microphone at all times during patrols and community events.
5.2 Why It's Required
Importance:
Clear communication is essential for smooth, efficient roleplay, especially during emergencies or coordinated actions (e.g., traffic stops, pursuits, or tactical operations). It also ensures that all members are able to effectively contribute to group activities.
5.3 Consequences of No Microphone
Enforcement:
Members without an audible microphone may be asked to leave patrols or could face temporary removal from certain activities until they resolve the issue.
6.1 Separation of IC and OOC
IC Violations:
If a character commits an offense (e.g., breaking department rules or committing a crime), any punishment applied will only affect that character and not the player’s entire standing within the department.
6.2 In-Character (IC) Termination
IC Termination:
A character may be terminated from their department position if they commit a serious IC offense (e.g., corruption, criminal activity, etc.).
6.3 Creating a New Character
Replacement Character:
If a character is terminated for IC reasons, the player must be allowed to create a new character of equal rank to replace the one that was removed, as long as the violation was strictly IC.
6.4 Out-of-Character (OOC) Termination
OOC Violations:
If a player is terminated for OOC reasons (e.g., inappropriate behavior, breaking community rules, repeated staff violations), they may lose the right to create a replacement character and could face more severe punishments, including removal from the department or the community.
6.5 Termination Clarification
Specification:
All terminations must clearly state whether they are IC or OOC to avoid confusion and ensure transparency.
7.1 Focus on Patrols
No Distractions:
Members must be fully dedicated to their patrols while in the server. Watching/playing other media (e.g., videos, games) during patrols is strictly prohibited.
7.2 Roleplay Immersion
Why It’s Important:
Full attention is required to maintain immersion and ensure realistic roleplay for all participants. Being distracted affects the quality of roleplay and can lead to missed communications or mistakes in the roleplay scenario.
7.3 Consequences for Inattention
Enforcement:
Members found to be distracted or not paying attention during patrols may:
Be asked to leave the patrol.
Face temporary suspension from future patrols.
Receive a warning or counseling from supervisors.
8.1 Punishments for Violations
Gradual Enforcement:
Depending on the severity of the violation, consequences may range from:
Verbal warning or counseling by a supervisor.
Temporary kick from the server (e.g., for one hour).
Suspension from patrols or department activities.
Permanent demotion or removal from a department or the community.
8.2 Consistent Enforcement
Fairness:
All punishments should be applied consistently and fairly, based on the severity of the violation and the member’s previous behavior or infractions.
Leave of Absence (LOA):
LOA posts are required if inactive for more than 7 days.
LOA extensions can be granted up to 3 months.
Inactivity:
After 30 days of inactivity without LOA, members will be removed and asked to reapply.
