To start off, we ask that you do the following to help keep lag low and our sim beautiful:
Remove scripts from furniture. For example, deleting color/texture changing scripts or flame scripts can help improve the performance of the sim.
Removing/lowering loud sounds,
Use low VRAM decor! Huh? Video Random Access Memory also plays a significant role on sim lag. The higher the VRAM, the harder everyone’s computer must work. Below, you will find a video explanation of VRAM, how to find the VRAM of an object, how to decrease it, and a list of stores we love…. And stores to avoid due to their high VRAM. Note: high VRAM objects will be asked to be removed.

VRAM Requirements & Optimization
Re-Use decor around sim or within your home! Take a look around the sim and see if you can reuse any of the items already rezzed out! Using the same decor pieces, regardless of who owns them, will optimize the overall strain caused by VRAM for all..
There are times when a centerpiece item of higher VRAM is needed to really make a room come alive. If you must, aim for only one or two items with higher VRAM (higher meaning 40,000 - 50,000KB).
