A child whose mother's address is in Porter County at the time of birth is considered a Porter County resident. Babies must be enrolled before their 1st birth day.
Porter County Community Foundation will invest $100 toward expenses for your child's education beyond high school.
If you transfer your funds into a College Savings Account, an extra $50 will be gifted to your child.

Our Women’s Care Center program provides free and confidential counseling, support, and education to women facing unplanned pregnancies, offering support to women from pregnancy until their child is school age.
Our center located in Hammond helps women feel that they are not alone as we provide free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting classes, prenatal education, prenatal vitamins, and a goal setting program.
Baby clothing, cribs, and supplies are also provided through the Crib Club Closet.
