The Portage Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC)
The Portage Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC) is a group of parents and school staff who work together to help improve special education in our schools. This group gives advice to the school district and shares ideas to make programs better for students with special education needs. Members of SEPAC include parents or guardians of students with an IEP or 504 plan, school leaders, and Portage Township Schools staff. SEPAC is not a PTO, social group, or advocacy group. Instead, it focuses on building strong relationships, solving problems together, sharing helpful information, and making special education services better for everyone.
