At Citrus College Beta Nu Eta of Phi Theta Kappa, our chapter aims to create leaders, excel in academics, serve our community and campus, and create lifelong friendships. We strive to offer opportunities for student involvement that give students a voice and experience to make a different to our college. We focus on collaboration in teams, working together with our officers and members to make progress as a chapter. We hope that we can create a legacy through the research, volunteering, fundraising, and leadership embraced in Beta Nu Etas.

"We, the members of Phi Theta Kappa in the Nevada/California Region, hereby establish these bylaws uniting our chapters in scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service. We recognize the academic excellence of our students, encourage continued achievement, and enhance the development and growth of this society through the pursuit of lifelong learning."

"As members of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, we dedicate ourselves to the ideas that academic excellence among college students will be recognized and celebrated; that opportunities to grow as scholars and leaders will be provided; that the exchange of ideas and ideals will be encouraged; and that members will be inspired to achieve their educational goals. We believe that membership in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is in recognition of our persistence and academic achievement, and we celebrate the Hallmarks of Phi Theta Kappa as being those of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship"
