As an officer, your position will be in your benefit and allow you to stand out in applications. It offers real-world team-building, networking, and adds to your personal strengths. In addition, it would be a great step to gain experience for your academic or career journeys, as well as a building block if you decide to pursue district, regional, and international leadership positions.
President
In this position, you will be responsible for leading our entire officer team. You will have to delegate tasks, organize material, and plan ahead to ensure that our chapter continues to run smoothly.
Vice President
In this position, you will be responsible for building leadership relations within our chapter.
VP of Communications & PR
In this position, you will be responsible for constant communication between the public, chapter members, officers, and advisors. You must know your information and be prepared to answer questions.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing and updating our chapter's social media profiles. You should also be familiar with replying to DMs, keeping an active social media presence, and making flyers to use for advertisement.
VP of Scholarship
In this position, you will be responsible for the information regarding scholarships. You will also play a leading role in the Honors in Action (HIA) Project, where we create a research paper and act to make a difference.
VP of Service
In this position, you will be responsible for our community service opportunities. You will have to organize and plan so that our chapter continues to fulfill our service on and off campus.
VP of Fundraising & Treasurey
In this position, you will be responsible for creating fundraising opportunities. You will be have to organize and plan, so that our chapter will continue to have an income to operate.
In this position, you will be responsible for our chapter's financial bookkeeping. You will work closely with the VP of Fundraising, to help our chapter manage money and ensure we have enough for operation.
Secretary
In this position, you will have to keep detailed meeting notes. This is critically important as we will be using these notes to understand our progress and success when formulating our report.
Peer Friendship
In this position, you will work with international students in our Peer Friendship Program. You will create friendships with them and make sure they feel supported in our college community.
VP of Fellowship
In this position, you will focus on building our relationships in this chapter. You will organize events and activities to make sure our members have positive friendships.
