As described in our Scholarship Hallmark, PTK provides many scholarship opportunities that can help fund your education. Officiated members earn, on average, $2,700 in transfer scholarship. PTK has over $37 million in scholarship funds available. Once an officiated member, these scholarships are available throughout your academic path, including your graduate and post-graduate education.
PTK connect is a benefit offered to PTK members that provides them with the data to better connect and research scholarships, colleges, and careers. You will be able to customize your decisions with detailed information from PTK Connect. You can find the most appropriate scholarship, analyze colleges, and find career prospects.

PTK offers courses to help you excel in careers, transfers, research, and as an individual. These course are known as PTK EDGE. Employment EDGE provides skills that can help you prepare for the working world. Transfer EDGE will enable you to make the necessary preparations to smoothly transfer into your ideal college. Research EDGE teaches effective research methods while also sharing information about the Honors in Action project. Competitive EDGE will help you gain skills for your overall professionalism, such as communication and critical thinking.

If traveling is something you enjoy, PTK may provide perfect opportunities for you to explore the world while learning. Some of our events are held in different parts of the country. For example, Catalyst and conferences are often held in different states. We do fundraisers to make sure all our members that would like to participate are able to participate. Although not frequent, if traveling with friends is for you, you will definitely enjoy our trips as a team!
If you are seeking to become a publicized author, PTK offers those opportunities. PTK publications feature research and writing authored by community college students and shares them publicly nationwide. Two PTK publications include Civic Scholar and Nota Bene. Civic Scholar includes research and action done by students to solve a need in their college or community. Nota Bene publishes 25 authors in 5 genres that have displayed extraordinary literature, it also rewards the best authors with scholarships.

As described in our Service Hallmark, we do many community service activities. We enjoy helping others and serving our community on and off campus. You can earn your volunteer hours through our service events. In addition, by simply participating in our meetings, you can also log in your volunteer hours. If you need to fill your 30 volunteer hour form for the Citrus College Honors Transfer Program, participate and our advisors will gladly sign for you!
