Introduction
This page highlights what I learned during the beginning of this course. The activities and assignments in Unit 0 served as an introduction to the class and helped me become familiar with the technology and skills I would need throughout the semester
During this unit, I learned important computer and email terms such as Information Systems (IS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), waffle menus, hamburger menus, breadcrumb trails, CC, BCC, attachments, and signature files. I also learned about professional email practices and how these tools are used in academic and professional settings.
These introductory activities prepared me for the course by helping me understand the learning platforms, communication tools, and digital skills that I would continue to use throughout the semester.
Unit 0 helped prepare me for the rest of the course. I learned important computer and email terms, how to use Brightspace and SIMnet, and how to write a professional email. These activities helped me become familiar with the tools, technology, and communication skills that I will use throughout the semester.
