This project explores emerging technology and how new innovations can shape the future. I learned how emerging tech develops, why it matters, and how it can impact everyday life, safety, and society as it continues to grow. 

I chose Waymo because self‑driving cars are becoming an important emerging technology. I wanted to learn how they improve safety, support people who cannot drive, and change transportation in the future. 

I learned that emerging technologies like Waymo can bring big benefits but also serious risks. Understanding both sides helped me see why safety rules, testing, and ethical guidelines are important. This project showed me how new technology can improve daily life while still needing careful management.
