We will use Canvas to complete the first few assignment in the class including the Canvas orientation quiz, the syllabus quiz and the MyLab IT registration.
Additionally you will complete the 4 Windows 11 assignments on Canvas.

Use the Office 2013 application to complete a list of tasks. You’ll use files that you download and save on your computer, then follow instructions to make changes to those files. The final file that you create is submitted to your instructor through the assignment link in MyLab IT. These Grader projects are scored by MyLab IT so you must be precise in following instructions. You will complete one or two grader projects for each chapter. After you have completed all assignments in each module (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) you will have one Capstone Grader that incorporates all the skills learned for that application.
NOTE: You must download and SAVE the files for the Grader projects before you start making changes. Do not use another student’s file or copy from another student’s file. Doing so will trigger an ’integrity violation’ and initiate the cheating policy described later in the syllabus.
Non-capstone Grader projects assignments are like section quizzes and can be submitted multiple times. After submitting your first attempt you can view what you missed, make your corrections, and resubmit.
Capstone projects are section exams and can only be submitted once so please review your work carefully before submitting. Watch the “How to complete a grader project” Video in MyLab IT for more details.
Simulation Trainings use a simulation of the Office application. You can complete these exercises as many times as you wish. Simulation trainings are a simulation of the live Office application that includes helpful resources including videos, access to the eText and an option to show you how to complete the task. You will use the simulation along with the study resources to learn how to complete tasks in the live Office application.
Videos, the eText and audio PowerPoints are available for each section. They are all for study purposes only and are not graded.
