The board in Cinder Shire is constructed as you play.
The way this is accomplished is by using a series of tiles overlaid with a grid.
The dungeon always starts with the entrance tile and ends with the exit tile.
When a player is on the edge of a tile you may use an agility token to place the next tile in any legal orientation.
After placing the tile simply roll a die to see what is placed on that tile.
There are three things that can be placed on a tile.
Gold, Chest Tokens, or Enemies
You buy stuff with it
You fight them
Draw a Chest Card
Modify the dungeon
Earn it from picking it up, selling items, striking a deal with another player
When an enemy is adjacent to a player, that player enters combat. When an enemy is defeated roll a die to see what they dropped. Whatever they drop goes onto the square they were standing in.
When you pick one up you draw a chest card, and do whatever it says immediately. Sometimes they are positive, sometimes they are negative, and sometimes they are neutral.
Below you may see a few of the chest cards that come in the full game.
Each time entering the dungeon after the first time reveal one encounter card.
Encounter cards modify the way you play in many ways; for example, one reduces your agility tokens.
