With a revered USA Hockey Level 4 certification, he officiated with precision and integrity across various levels of play, from USA Hockey Youth to adult, high school, college club, and even NHL games, showcasing his expertise as both a referee and linesman.
His impact extended far beyond the ice, as he shared his knowledge and expertise as a USA Hockey National Seminar Instructor for 14 years and as an instructor at the California Referee School for 25 years, shaping the next generation of officials.
Pokey's officiating career took him to numerous prestigious leagues and events, including the QMJHL, OHL, WHL, USHL, WCHA, WCHL, ECHL, IHL, AHL, and even the NHL as a contracted referee. He officiated at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, and the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, further solidifying his reputation as a top-tier official on the international stage.
Even after retiring from on-ice officiating, Pokey continued to contribute to the game as an NHL Off-Ice Official, specializing in video replay for Colorado Avalanche home games. He also served as the Director of Officiating for the West Coast Hockey League and Roller Hockey International before assuming his current role as Director of Officiating for the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC).

With a respected USA Hockey Level 4 certification, he officiated with precision and integrity across various levels of play, from USA Hockey Youth to adult, high school, and college club leagues, where he skillfully fulfilled roles as both a referee and linesman.
His impact extended beyond the ice, as he played crucial roles within the officiating community. Gary served as a seminar instructor for USA Hockey, sharing his knowledge and expertise with aspiring officials. He also contributed to the development of officiating standards through his involvement as a scheduler for Hyland Hills Hockey, serving both youth and adult leagues.
Gary's leadership within the hockey community was further evidenced through his tenure on the CIHRA (Colorado Ice Hockey Referees Association) Board, serving three terms. He also served as the Colorado Supervisor of Officials for USA Hockey for two terms and as the District Evaluation Coordinator, ensuring the quality and consistency of officiating across the region.
His dedication to excellence in officiating extended to national tournaments, where he officiated at various USA Hockey National Tournaments, including Bantam-Midget, Tier 1 & 2, and Women’s Nationals. Gary also served as a supervisor for district and national tournaments and was a staff member for the RMD Development Camp.
Even after retiring from on-ice officiating, Gary continued to contribute to the game as an NHL Off-Ice Official, specializing in video replay for Colorado Avalanche home games.
Furthermore, Gary's service to his country is honored, having bravely served in the Army with a tour in Vietnam, embodying courage and dedication both on and off the ice.

Ken's impact extended beyond the United States, as he obtained an IIHF B and A License, officiating in tournaments in the UK, Rome, Holland, Russia, and France, further showcasing his expertise and dedication on the international stage.
His leadership within the hockey community was evident through his tenure on the CIHRA (Colorado Ice Hockey Referees Association) Board, serving as President for five terms from 2000 and as Vice President in 1999. He also contributed to the development of officiating standards as a seminar instructor for USA Hockey.
Ken's commitment to the sport of hockey was not limited to officiating. He served as a Board Director and Chairman for the English Ice Hockey Association and continues to serve as a Board Director of Ice Hockey UK to the present day, demonstrating his enduring dedication to the growth and development of hockey internationally.
Furthermore, Ken's service to his country is honored, having bravely served in the Air Force for 23 years before retiring in 1988, embodying courage and dedication both on and off the ice.

His impact extended beyond the ice, as he assumed crucial roles within the officiating community. Red served as the CAHA (Colorado Amateur Hockey Association) Representative for CIHRA (Colorado Ice Hockey Referees Association), showcasing his leadership and commitment to advancing the sport's governance.
Red's dedication to the development of officiating standards was further exemplified through his tenure as the Colorado Supervisor of Officials for USA Hockey in 2006. He also contributed as a national seminar instructor, sharing his knowledge and expertise with officials across the country.
Additionally, Red played an integral role in ensuring the safety and welfare of participants as the Risk Manager for USA Hockey from 1996 to 1999. Prior to his formal role, he volunteered as a Risk Manager for ten years, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the well-being of the hockey community.
Red's passion for hockey was further evidenced through his involvement in professional leagues, serving as a linesman for the IHL Denver Spurs and Denver Rangers, as well as fulfilling off-ice official duties for Denver Cutthroats home games in the CHL.
