Meet Brooklyn
Hi everyone! My name is Brooklyn. I'm currently a Freshman at Cibola High School, and this is my first year in Youth & Government! This year, I was overwhelmingly elected as the Underclassmen Represetative to Cibola YAG's Executive Council, with 95% of the vote!
Even though this is my first year, I have experience running elections thanks to my work running Cibola YAG's 2025 Executive Council elections alongside President Tanner Ozdoba. Beforehand, I've also helped run elections and polls throughout my time in middle school, though on a smaller scale.
For this year's NMYAG state conference, I will serve in the Governors Cabinet as Secretary of Public Education. I hope to pass and advocate for bills that strengthen and support the entirety of our education system. Outside of YAG, I participate in Model UN, Mock Trial, and golf. I also play two instruments and enjoy hanging out with friends!

Work to expand the Middle School Program in ABQ Public Schools
