CIA First International School proudly presents the fifth edition of CIA First International School MUN Conference, a reflection of our school’s enduring commitment to global education, dialogue, and leadership. Esteemed Directors, Honorable Chairs, Distinguished Guests, and Delegates,
My name is Someanear Virak, and it is an honor to invite you to the 5th iteration of our annual CIA First Model United Nations conference. The theme for this year's conference, ‘Beyond Destruction, Towards Reconstruction,’ is designed to reflect the importance of dialogue and understanding, especially in turbulent times.
With the current ongoing conflicts and humanitarian crises around the world, it is more important than ever to speak not with weapons but with words, to work towards not destruction but innovative and impactful solutions. CIA FIRST MUN’26 aims to challenge you to debate, engage in meaningful dialogues, and write purposeful resolutions. We hope to create a space where you can collaborate, delve into important topics both of the present and the past, gain a deeper understanding of our rapidly changing world, and find new perspectives on pressing international issues.

Dear Esteemed Directors, Honourable Chairs, Distinguished Guests, and Delegates,
My name is Ratanakpich Leang, and I’m honored to be serving as the Co-Secretary General for this year's CIA FIRST MUN. MUN has been one of the most rewarding parts of my high school experience; it has not only taught me about international relations, but also the value of teamwork, empathy, and listening to different perspectives.
This year’s theme, “Beyond Destruction Towards Reconstruction,” speaks directly to the world we live in today. From conflicts and humanitarian crises to climate change and division, it can often feel like destruction defines our generation. But just as important is our ability to rebuild, whether through dialogue, cooperation, or innovative ideas. This conference is a chance for us to reflect on these challenges and consider how our generation can move beyond destruction.
I look forward to seeing the meaningful conversations and solutions that will come from this year’s conference.

We are delighted to welcome all delegates and advisors to our fifth annual Model United Nations Conference at the Sen Sok 2 campus. We’re incredibly excited to bring our community together under this year’s inspiring theme, "Beyond Destruction, Towards Reconstruction." This conference is a special place where students of all experience levels can connect. We believe the fresh ideas of first-time delegates are just as valuable as the strategic insights of seasoned veterans. While you’ll be representing your assigned nation, your bigger purpose is to work together towards a collective goal. We’ve designed this event to be an opportunity for you to grow as a speaker, a researcher, and, most importantly, as a compassionate global citizen. Thank you for being a part of this, and we’re confident that your contributions will make this a truly successful and transformative experience for everyone involved.
FROM THE UNDERSECRETARY GENERALS
Hi there! We are so honored to be your undersecretary generals for this year's CIA FIRST MUN. I'm Vann, and I was your former Head of Design for CIAMUN'25. I am very familiar with how conference planning goes after working with my seniors. We understand how much detail it takes into making a great conference. And I’m Botra and alongside Vann we hope to assist to make this year as memorable as ever. Although I haven’t had any prior experience in the executive committee, I hope with the guidance of our seasoned EXECOM members I am able to navigate this conference to ensure that it will run as smoothly as possible. We look forward to fruitful discussions to come!
