GENERAL ASSEMBLIES
GAs likewise to the real UN conference, are the main "policy-making" working organ at CIAFIRST MUN'26. Acting as some of the most intense and largest committees, GAs are the best starting points for new delegates wishing to try MUN out for the very first time.

UN AGENCY
The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs is responsible for promoting international cooperation in the peaceful use and exploration of outer space. This committee allows delegates to discuss issues such as space law, satellite usage, and the prevention of an arms race in space. It is ideal for delegates interested in science, technology, and international security, offering them the chance to explore the future of diplomacy beyond Earth.

INTERGOVERNMENTAL BODIES
Intergovernmental Bodies are the main body that makes up CIAFIRST MUN'26. Unlike GAs, intergovernmental bodies cater to delegates who have experienced quite a few MUN conferences and are confident the challenge the broad range of security and social topics and some of the most pressing issues specific to each committee.
In CIAFIRST MUN'26, UN Security Council will be taking a new twist. Delegates are expected to not only discuss on the topics given at hand but they are also expected to take on the many unexpected crisis that will arise throughout the entirety of the three days conference.

SPECIALIZED COMMITTEES
Specialized and Crisis committees provide delegates with the opportunity to creatively solve the problems at hand in a creative and innovative manner. Unlike regular committees, crises demand quick thinking, adaptability, and the ability to respond to unexpected challenges as they unfold. Delegates are encouraged to craft bold strategies, negotiate under pressure, and work both individually and collectively to shape the outcome of events.
These committees are best suited for intermediate to experienced delegates who feel confident taking initiative, directing the course of debate, and influencing the storyline as it develops. They are perfect for those who enjoy a more dynamic and hands-on style of Model UN.
