Hello, Marching Band Parents! We are about one week away from Pre-camp and then things start rolling. A few things for you this week. Make sure you’re checking the Band Booster website for volunteer signups and updates.

Need a volunteer to transport lift for Band Camp

Need a volunteer to transport the lift for Band Camp
Since we are at CMS for Band Camp, we need a lift for Mr. Miller to use so he can see the field. We need a volunteer helper to pick up the lift on July 23 or 24 at United Rental and then take it back on Saturday, August 1. The lift has a hitch and gets towed like a trailer.
Need volunteers to pull the trailers for football games and competitions
We have two trailers now and we need some help towing them to games and competitions. The larger trailer is for our pit and drumline equipment and goes to football games and competitions. The smaller trailer (new this year!) is for uniform racks, hats, and smaller instruments and it will only go to competitions.
We need some parent help with towing these trailers. In the past, parents have used their personal vehicles and donated the gas but we understand that model may not work for everyone. So if you know how and are comfortable pulling a trailer (large or small), the Band Boosters can help with gas and/or rent a truck to pull the trailer(s).

Parent Socials during Band Camp
We would love to see you at one of our Parent Socials during Band Camp. They will be held near the practice field each evening during outdoor rehearsals at CMS from 6:30-8:00pm. Stop by as you’re able and meet the Band Boosters! We will have snacks each night:
Monday - Come on by for an old fashioned Ice Cream Social
Tuesday - “Pop-in” and see us and grab some popcorn
Wednesday - Learn how to “Get your Hands Dirty” and come by for a dirty soda
Thursday - Stop by for a “Trail Mixer” and have a snack

In an effort to make all of our lives easier, we have created a Band Booster website to keep all of our Booster sign ups in one place. Check it out!
Pre-camp is July 20-25 and we need help with two things - fruit donations and volunteer sign ups. You can find all of the info and sign up links on the Pre-camp page of the Band Booster website.
Band Camp is July 27 - August 1 and we need some parent participation! We need help with our volunteer schedule and fruit donations. You can find all of that info and those sign up links on the Band Camp page of the Band Booster website. Remember! If you volunteer during Band Camp, you get this year’s tshirt for free!
If you would like to be cool and wear a name tag (yes, it’s cool in this club!) please place your order using this form. In case you’re new and/or curious, you can see what our name tags look like in the attached. All of our students and staff get a name tag and parents can order one if they like. It will look fantastic with that band shirt you’re going to get for volunteering during Band Camp 😉
Hello, Marching Band Parents! We hope everyone is doing well. I know I missed our weekly email on Thursday but I've been dealing with a family emergency out of state this week. So I'm sending this message to get us back on schedule and give a quick update.
We will have lots of things for you in our next email that will (if life cooperates) be sent this coming Thursday, June 25. This will include volunteer schedules for Band Camp, fruit donation schedules for Pre-camp and Band Camp, a link for parents to order name tags, and whatever else we get done before Thursday!
