In my internship at SRI-B, I am working on the Uplink System Level Simulator, focusing on TPMI reporting and user scheduling algorithms for codebook-based uplink transmissions. My tasks include designing scheduling strategies, minimizing TPMI bit reporting, simulating multi-user scenarios in MATLAB, and analyzing performance metrics like throughput and coverage. I am optimizing algorithms to improve spectral efficiency, achieving better fairness in high-load conditions. This experience strengthening my skills in wireless system simulation, 3GPP standards, and performance optimization for 5G NR uplink.
I worked on a standardization project, Next Generation Wireless Research and Standardization on 5G and Beyond (5GB), sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. In this project, I mainly focus on the modem design for vehicular IoT devices that experience a high Doppler environment. My contribution to this project can be divided into three parts: i) Standardization of new radio IoT (NR-IoT) architecture, ii) Standardization of new waveform for the IoT devices, and iii) Frame structure and timing aspects of the IoT device. Moreover, I contribute to the Ambient-IoT standardization work.
Odisha University of Technology and Research
(Formerly College of Engineering & Technology)
Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India-751003.
As a lecturer from January 2018 to December 2018, I delivered comprehensive courses in Wireless Communication, Fundamentals of Communication Theory, and Advanced Communication Labs (I and II). I took the initiative to design the syllabus and create detailed lab manuals for both Advanced Communication Labs, establishing a strong educational foundation. My proactive involvement in career counselling and mentorship of final-year B.Tech students further empowered them to excel in their projects and academic pursuits.
