Deadline Alert: Schedule change requests (including Academy course changes) must be emailed to your counselor by March 6, 2026, at 3 PM. No requests will be accepted after the deadline.
Counselors will register students who are interested in taking an FCP Online Campus course during their academic advising appointment.
Please note that any student who requests to take an FCPS Online Campus course is required to be off-campus. The student/family has to provide their own transportation to and from school. This off-campus period is the dedicated period where the student should be working on their online coursework. Students will work with their counselor to select their preferred off-campus period - 1st period, 2nd period, 7th period, and 8th period are the ONLY options. Counselors do not place students in off-campus periods in the middle of the day.
Counselors do not have control over seat availability in FCPS Online Campus courses. The student/family and counselor will be notified by the end of April if a student is offered a seat in their chosen FCPS Online Campus course(s).
Students may register for up to 2 credits as part of their standard 7 credits. Students registering for more than 7 credits will be charged $680 ($340 reduced lunch/$68 free lunch) per extra credit in October.
Online Campus class ONLY meets once a week, students are expected to miss NO MORE than three virtual classes.
The time the class meets is determined at the beginning of the school year:
Monday: CTE and PE (includes Teachers for Tomorrow 2 and Economics & Personal Finance)
Tuesday: English and Science
Wednesday: Mathematics and World Language (includes AP Computer Science Principles)
Thursday: Social Studies
