Spong is a reimagined classic from the Golden Age of arcade gaming. The ever-changing playing ground offers a delightful counter-intuitive challenge, and the randomly generated power ups keep the game extra exciting. Score as many points as you can as the board rotates and you bounce the ball to keep it on the field. For one or two players, the game is exhilarating.
My Contributions :
Optimized the codebase for mobile efficiency, ensuring smooth performance on Android and iOS platforms
Implemented the object pool pattern to optimize the power up spawner
Enhanced gameplay by improving existing mechanics and introducing new game mechanics
Improved the touch controller
Improved the AI controller
Programmed and implemented the power ups
Created Android and iOS builds and upload them to the Play Store and Apple Store for internal testing
Integrated Firebase to collect user-app analytics
Integrated the advertising Yodo1 SDK
