About :
Black Market harnesses the player's voice and emotions to evoke potent magic spells, unlock cursed treasure chests, and conjure a diverse array of magical runes. Immerse yourself in an era of wizards and warlocks, where the black market thrived as the hub for trading powerful arcane artifacts.
This innovative game integrates emotion identification technology provided by audEERING. One challenge was to seamlessly integrate player speech into gameplay. To address this, I devised a game mechanic that leverages the player's emotional cues to unlock numerous chests, allowing them to gather essential components for a formidable spell. Additionally, players can engage in side quests by filling four emotional progress bars—anger, happiness, excitement, and sadness. By intertwining this mechanic with a timer, players are compelled to speak, locate required items, and fill at least one emotional progress bar within the allotted time to successfully complete the game.
