Explore a universe where sins and virtues are crucial to the outcome. Make your way through nine hells and make choices that reflect who you are.
Nine Hells is a platform game with 3D visuals that consists of nine stages.
The core mechanic is the "switch plane ability", the idea of the world and how you can interact with it. The concept of space is made up of two planes: the Material Plane and the Shadow Plane. The player can switch between the two planes and unlock new mechanisms to solve different challenges but the actions can affect both planes.
My Contributions :
Conceptualized and designed the game's premise and core mechanics.
Introduce the innovative "switch plane" ability, adding depth to gameplay dynamics.
Conducted comprehensive research to anchor the game's theme around the intriguing concept of the 7 deadly sins.
Engineered intricate puzzle mechanics, enriching the player experience with engaging challenges.
Led 4 people and Trained a rookie with Unity and Git.
Spearheaded tasks management by creating, prioritizing, and delegating assignments to team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
Designed and implemented critical elements including the player platform controller, the interactive systems, and core mechanics such as the switch place.
Programmed a system to mirror object behavior and state across planes, enhancing gameplay coherence.
Developed functionality to dynamically spawn and despawn objects based on their preview state, optimizing performance and visual fidelity.
