NO ONE is a dark and gritty, single-camera, 44-minute drama set in an unnamed, overcast
North-eastern U.S. city, following the life of a war refugee and invisible man simply trying to
survive in a world that couldn’t care less about him. With no job, no friends, and no hope on
the horizon, he spends his days busking on street corners, playing his saxophone with a skill
and passion that go unnoticed by the indifferent crowd. As the man with no name struggles
against poverty, isolation, and the scars of his past, the city itself becomes a character, a harsh,
unrelenting force that mirrors his own despair. The series explores themes of loneliness,
survival, and the quiet desperation that pulses beneath a cold, indifferent world, with
moments of unexpected beauty and fleeting humanity buried in the urban darkness.
