As a passionate educator, born and educated in Brooklyn, Christina is excited to find ways to bring a global education to students who share her urban background. She is currently an English Teacher, Early College Advisor, and Technology Coordinator at Brooklyn College Academy, an Early College High School, and Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at Brooklyn College. Along with teaching accelerated English courses, she brought GSuite (formerly Google Apps for Education) to the fingertips of her school community. With the help of her administration and colleagues, Brooklyn College Academy explores how to utilize educational technology more efficiently to support staff and student needs.

As a member of advisory and technology committees at Brooklyn College, Christina assists the Dean of the School of Education in successful education technology adoption and incorporation. Christina is a nationally recognized educator and presenter at organizations that partner K-12 institutions with Higher Education, such as the Middle College National Consortium [MCNC] and the National Network of Educational Renewal [NNER]. Christina is the point person for MCNC Google Trainings and sits as a member of the NNER Governing Council.

Christina's interests include learning about the intricacies of ed-tech platforms more deeply and exploring/sharing best practices with ed-tech in solving problems in education. She is a Ph.D. student at The CUNY Graduate Center whose interests surround the policies that surround education technology and its successful integration in Schools of Education. Her research also encompasses the way purposeful partnerships across educational and corporate systems can positively influence student outcomes. Ideally, Christina would like to facilitate Professional Development for in-service / pre-teachers and contribute to innovatively improving the efficacy of education through the use of technology.
