Recognized by the CEO of SMART Technology, Greg Estell. As it reads in his letter bellow:
"...Christina brought her passion for policy and ed-tech implementation into our conversations surrounding changing outcomes in education. Most notably, her unique perspectives as an educator in the 7-12 classroom, the advisory role she holds in Schools of Education, and her Ph.D. research surrounding policy and leadership in education technology speak to her potential to implement change with creative solutions. Christina received professional development in design thinking methodology, SMART software and hardware, and access to resources that could help inform schools and districts on gaps in ed-tech implementation. Leaving the summit, she has additional tools and resources to support the New York City Department of Education — the largest school district in the country — with an ed-tech vision aligned from a global perspective. These conversations could also help Schools of Education implement ed-tech best practices. Christina is excited to share SMART’s resources and findings with her district leaders and Deans of Education."
