FOOD BANK: The items requested in SEPTEMBER is INSTANT OATMEAL and in OCTOBER they have asked for MEDIUM SIZE FREEZER BAGS and November is Jello. The Food Bank bins are in the church beside the stone font, if you wish to drop off donations off during the week the office open on most Tuesdays from 9 to noon and all day on Thursday. Call ahead to make sure. If you find any of these items on sale, please let us know so that we can pass the information on to the rest of the congregation.

GIFT CARDS ORDERS will be taken on the 3 rd Sunday of the month – the next deadline is SEPTEMBER 20. PLEASE NOTE: all the orders and payments (cash or cheques) should be given directly to Jackie. Send her an email, jluea180@gmail.com, or mail to the church with a clear note for it to be put in her church mailbox.

The WOODBRIDGE VILLAGE FARMER’S MARKET is open every Saturday, from 9 am to 1 pm continuing to October 10.  Come out and support local farmers! 

 Pre-authorized Remittance: One way to ensure that we have enough income to cover our expense is through PAR. Even when we cannot be in church by participating in this program you can help to provide a steady income stream. If you wish to participate in the PAR Program or would like some more information, please talk to Joanne Gilliatt at 905-264-1552.

Orange Shirt Day – Sept 30: Each year, the Anglican Church of Canada marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and encourages everyone to participate in Orange Shirt Day. The closest Sunday is Sept 27, if you have one, please wear an orange shirt to church that day…as well as on Wednesday, Sept 30. Harvest Thanksgiving: We will be decorating for Thanksgiving Sunday on Friday, October 9 in the evening. If you would like to contribute, please bring your donations to the church office on Thursday, October 8 between 9 am and 1 pm. We are looking for potted mums, pumpkins, cabbages and other hearty vegetables! We will also gladly accept money towards the purchase of items – please put cash or cheque in an envelope marked THANKSGIVING on the offering plate.

Woodbridge Fair: Volunteers are needed to help with the 179th Woodbridge Fall Fair on Thanksgiving Weekend – Oct 10, 11, & 12. If you are interested, please speak to Nancy, Jamie or Jennipher.
