We are a group of about 60 people of all ages and backgrounds who meet together throughout the week to explore and be encouraged by God's word; the bible.
Christa..what? Christadelphian means "brothers and sisters in Christ." We like the name because those who believed in Christ in the bible also called each other brothers and sisters.
Like the name suggests, we treat each other as family under the understanding that God wants us to meet together and show each other love and support.
As members we all pitch in to contribute time, resources, energy and enthusiasm voluntarily. We believe it's an important part of our service to God. We share this faith and way of life with many Christadelphians around the world.
The Bible teaches we die because of sin. Romans 6v23. But God offers a way out of death. John 3:16.
God became a Father, when Jesus was born. The conception of Jesus was unique, Mary conceived a child (Jesus) without the aid of man but by the Holy Spirit. So Jesus was known as the 'begotten' Son of God. Begotten means; being born, having a beginning.
To save people from their sins (and therefore eternal death). 1Tim 1:15. Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. So we rejoice in that provision of God and Jesus as our Saviour.
He did not sin. This is the only difference between him and us. He was tempted in every way but stayed sinless. So, his sacrifice was a perfect one and accordingly death could not hold him, so God raised him from the dead. And not just that – he was raised in glory and will be King over all the earth when he returns. Revelation 11:15.
What a wonderful hope for the world.
