Esther was made queen instead of Queen Vashti. You can read all about her in the book of Esther in the Bible. It's a very exciting story! She was the queen who saved all Jews from being killed by their evil enemy, Haman. Even today every March the Jews celebrate the feast of Purim to celebrate this victory.

Esther was brave and trusted God.

All About Aaron

Aaron was the brother of Moses. God let Aaron help Moses lead the children of Israel out of Egypt because he was a good speaker and Moses thought he couldn't talk well. 

When Moses went to get the 10 Commandments, Aaron made a golden calf idol. That was very bad. 

But God made Aaron the High Priest of Israel. He had to wear special clothes. He was the only person allowed in the Most Holy Place in the Tabernacle. When people complained about him, they each put a rod in the tabernacle overnight. Aaron's rod budded, flowered and had almonds that night, to show that he was God's chosen priest.

Barnabas

Barnabas was a good friend of Paul and is mentioned quite a few time in the book of Acts. You can read about him in Acts 1 v 23, Acts 13 - 15. Barnabas was a man of encouragement. Did you find out what other names he was known by?

Elijah

Elijah was a prophet of God who did some amazing miracles. You can read all about him in 1 Kings 17 to 2 Kings 2 in a Bible near you.

Here are some of the things Elijah did
