An Introduction To What I Do
Provide leadership to the district with regard to the facilitation of successful selection and implementation of strategies and tools which ensures students with disabilities access to educational materials across environments
Lead others by collaborating and evaluating services provided by the Specialized Instructional Facilitators - Assistive Technology for school staff and students
Foster the design of instruction consistent with the principles of Universal Design for Learning and the Student, Environment, Task, and Tools (SETT) Framework to support Personalized Learning
Deliver multi-modal district-wide training and professional development experiences to build capacity surrounding inclusive practices
Collaborate with personnel, including school-based administrators and division leadership in the Department of Instruction and Department of Digital Innovation, to support inclusive and accessible practices
Conduct consultations and assessments to assist Individual Education Program teams in the consideration of the technology needs of students
Facilitate and coach educators and families on the successful implementation of contemporary technologies
Conduct multimodal trainings on accessible, personalized educational experience design and technology implementation
Develop and maintain pro-active policies and procedures for district-wide implementation of universal technology services
Create and facilitate online sharing sites, discussion boards, and social media initiatives
