WHY VOTE?

In the past, around half of the freshmen at Stuyvesant voted in the freshmen caucus president elections. However, it is paramount to democracy that students vote. Fellow freshmen, your voice matters, especially when your actions have a direct correlation to affairs that impact you for the rest of this year. 

WE WANT TO WORK FOR YOUR BENEFIT.

As we mentioned above, we will create fun activities to help establish a community early on in freshman year. This community will stick with you for the rest of high school and leave a distinct mark on your life. 

WE WILL LISTEN TO YOU.

Your voice matters, and we are here to hear your ideas, concerns, and suggestions throughout our campaign and beyond. 

WE WANT TO HELP YOU ALL BE THE BEST PERSON YOU CAN BE.

Our goal is to empower you to become the best version of yourself.

WE WANT TO ESTABLISH ENGAGING ACTIVITIES THAT WILL GIVE YOU A BREAK.

Everyone needs a breather! We’ve got fun and exciting activities planned to help you relax and recharge. Though we will be continuing some projects that previous and current students are doing, we also want to incorporate new ideas such as our "Back In Time" and "Freshmen Board" activities. 

WE ENCOURAGE HARD WORK AND DETERMINATION.

Together, we hope to foster a spirit of hard work and perseverance to help you achieve your goals. With Student Olympics and college resources, there is no doubt that you will be motivated!  

WE WILL HELP BETTER YOUR MENTAL HEALTH BY CONNECTING YOU TO OTHER STUDENTS.

Building a strong support network is essential, and we’re committed to connecting you with peers who can help improve your mental well-being. This is your first year in high school, and it is important for you to create friendships. Our Freshmen Board will help you all understand that behind every bad day, there are reasons to be happy. Additionally, our Student Interviews will help boost your mood and get to know your fellow classmates!

WE WILL REPRESENT YOU AND YOUR INTERESTS.

As your representatives, we will be your partners in creating a great freshman year experience.  However, we want you all to understand that we, like you, want to experience the best first year of high school. We want to lead, but not for popularity or pride. Rather, we want to help you all. 

WE WANT TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE BEST FRESHMAN YEAR AS POSSIBLE.

Our aim is to make your first year in high school the best it can be, filled with memorable experiences and opportunities. Remember, we are freshmen ourselves, so we would not support something we ourselves would not want to experience. 

WE ARE INTRODUCING YOU TO SERVICE THAT HAVE PREVIOUSLY HELPED YOUR UPPERCLASSMEN AND BIG SIBGS ALONG THEIR STUY JOURNEYS.

We will connect you with resources and events that have proven beneficial for students who came before you. Plus, we are creating new, innovative activities to spark your creativity. 

WE WANT TO WORK WITH YOU SO THAT WE CAN PROVE THAT THE CLASS OF 2027 IS AMAZING!

We will show just how awesome the Class of 2027 can be when we collaborate and support one another. 

Remember, just like you, we are freshmen students! We want to understand and act on anything that you want during your first year at Stuyvesant. Though there may be difficult times this school year, we promise to help you and work with you. Once again, we prioritize C.H.A.N.C.E.
