As fellow freshmen, we understand your stress about college, and though this may be your first year of high school, we recognize that it is never too late to start preparing for college. Therefore, we propose the following services:
STUDY RESOURCES
Whether you choose to take standardized tests down the road of your high school years, we want to be there to support you in your studies! We promise to do this by (1) providing online resources that can be used to study for AP exams, SATs, PSATs, ACTs, and more and by (2) connecting you to Stuyvesant's staff members. Preparing for college applications is a collaborative experience, and as your freshmen co-presidents, we want to efficiently work for your benefit.
COLLEGE RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
We realize that there are thousands of colleges that are available to you all, and we want to help you find the ones that you are most compatible with and the ones that you are most interested in. Depending on your availability and requests, we'll connect you to some of Stuyvesant's clubs, alumni, and peers to help you find the colleges that you may be interested in.
COLLEGE PROCESS GUIDELINE
Throughout your freshman year, we will strive to collaborate with colleges, college professors, and college students to help guide you. Whether you want to become a medical professional or an accountant, we will try to create information sessions, so that you can have a realistic idea of what you could be doing to help you!
