In a continuing effort to provide competition and fellowship, to encourage sportsmanship and to preserve the best interests and true spirit of golf, the Colonial Heritage Men’s Golf Association (MGA) hereby promulgates the awards to be presented at the year-end banquet.

The awards for each season will be in the following categories:

• Low Net Score *:

  • • The winner of this category will be the MGA member who has achieved the lowest net score during MGA play at Colonial Heritage between March 1 and Nov 30.

• Low Gross Score *:

  • • The winner of this category will be the MGA member who has achieved the lowest gross score during MGA play at Colonial     Heritage between March 1 and Nov 30.

• Most Improved Golfer *:

  • • The winner of this category will be the MGA member whose handicap improved the most between March 1 and Nov 30.  Scores from all play posted in the handicap system will be eligible. In the case of a tie, the improvement factor will be calculated to the number of decimal places necessary to determine an absolute winner.

• MGA Match Play Championship:

  • • There will be a MGA Match Play Championship tournament. Awards will be presented to the winner of each Match Play flight.

*Please Note: To be eligible for these awards you must have played in at least 8 MGA events during the season
