REFORMATION OF INDIA'S EDUCATION

AROHAN (meaning ‘Ascendance’) is the brainchild of two school friends, Adish and Rohan, who started it with the intention to educate underprivileged children. Quality education, which opens many doors to a better future, is something that is elusive to many underprivileged children in India even today! Reasons vary from lack of qualified teachers, to availability and affordability of good schools, to education levels of parents, to simply availability of time – many underprivileged children have to help their parents in earning a livelihood.

We, at AROHAN, believe in the saying, "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime!".

Currently, we are a group of 8 volunteers and 35 students. Soon we are planning to reach more children. We would welcome more volunteers who share our views and passion to teach!
