Chapter overview:
This chapter presents a case study of Thea as a drawer, unravelling the meanings in her drawings. The interpretation of some of her drawings reflects her preferred use of simple to complex modes. The Inventory of Content of Thea’s drawings highlights two recurring themes: “Animals” and “People”. Our detailed interpretation of selected drawings explores how these themes featured in her drawings and the meanings she created and conveyed through them.
