Chapter overview:
In this chapter, we discuss the eternal conflicts of love, power, good and evil which surpass temporal and cultural boundaries, and have been communicated through the three children’s drawings, to explore the acuity of humanity. We examine how Luke, Thea and Bertly, intricately intertwined these profound, universal moral qualities and perpetual dichotomies to address ethical dilemmas. Further, we examine how these concepts emerge as children use drawing as a play process.
