My karate journey started in Wales in the early 1980s under Enoeda Sensei and the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB). Following an absence from formal training due to rugby commitments, I returned to karate in 2001 and continue to train, teach and compete. I am the founder of Tōushi Karate in the UK. Most recent competitive success was at the WUMF World Championships, winning gold in veterans masters kumite and bronze in kata.
