2026.03.30 Back to being me
It took a bit to start feeling better. Honestly I was still struggling over this weekend a little. But I think it's more weather and pollen related. The E.coli seems to have been defeated. But it made me a bit weak so anything and everything is making me feel like poo.
Now that I'm no longer taking the meds for the E.coli I am back on my iver and fenben. So I'm about 4 days in on being back on those. Also cycling in my vitamins. So energy is coming back up.
On the work front - I am officially an MLO as of today. Working on my advertising and webpage for that. Also starting my twitch account. So come look for me as Miss Amy IRL. There is also a Youtube channel associated with it. Out here expanding and doing the things.
Back to doing lives on TT in the mornings. Tried doing nights but I would much rather have my coffee with you. Going to be adding more products to my TT shop.
Couple books in the works.
Now I'm just revising my routines again. As always trying to make it a little better.
Love ya bunches.
2026.03.08 Well ecoli is no fun! Just saying.
Ok, if you aren't in the inner loop you might not have heard but I got pretty sick about a week ago. Thursday night my stomach was a bit upset. Blamed it on the glass of wine and a very long day. Friday I was slightly nausous so thought I might need to do a fast or cleans over the weekend. Saturday and Sunday I made it through my open houses but I was living on bone broth and matzah but everything made me gag. Also started running a fever but I didn't notice til the evening. Thought I was getting a UTI so was drinking plenty of water and cran. By Monday I was barely able to get through the day. Tuesday I see my doctor - yep UTI. She gave me a shot and some antibiotics. They worked a little but not great. Wednesday was awful. Still running a fever but had to go to Austin for a 2 hour meeting that turned into 3. So I literally fell into bed. Thursday my doctor calls - stop the antibiotics because I have ecoli and need to get a new prescription. It is now Sunday and even though I'm improving - I have a small appetite and am getting a few things done but not much. Have 3 more days of my new drugs but I'm supposed to call my doctor on Tuesday if I'm not completely better. So send prayers.
Love ya bunches.
2026.01.17: Just a quick check in.
Wow! it has been a busy time. If you've been keeping up with me on social media you know I've been out here doing all the things - Real Estate, Writing, Posting, and now getting my MLO.
So, what does this mean health wise?
Well, my energy comes in waves. I still do the patches everyday (a 21 mg cut into 4ths). And I've had to start taking the ivermectin again. It really does help keep the m-proteins down. Unfortunately, everyone who says they have the secret formula of how much and how long never want to share except to get you to sign up for their newsletter or whatever. Seriously disappointed in them. Plus, doctors are still not really taking it seriously or at worst, suppressing it so they can keep us on the drugs they get paid to push.
I will say that for me I tend to do it every other day or every third day (if I forget) and it seems to be working. The challenge for me is that I start feeling better so I forget to take it for a couple weeks and then I start feeling it again. So take note - do it consistently.
I'm not sure if I do it consistently for months or even a year will make it so I don't have to keep taking it. However, I can tell you that doing it for that long stretch originally (see previous posts) put me in sort of a remission. And when I do it at least once a week it maintains the lower levels but doesn't erase them.
Honestly, I look back on my life and can see where I probably have been dealing with spikes in m-proteins as far back as I can remember. So maybe the effects just get worse with age. Or maybe the conspiracy theorists are right and a lot of people are shedding them after the c vax or that c itself was a transmitter or catalyst of the proteins. Either way, I hope they eventually bring down the cost of the pill form. It truly keeps me up and moving.
Love you bunches - Miss Amy
2025.06.27: So to catch you up on the latest.
Had to cut back on the steps to get the inflamation down then I get sick for about a week and a half. So now I'm back to shooting for 1000 steps a day again.
I did some blood tests a couple weeks ago. They are still showing no M spike. The levels connected to kidney function were not so great but I'm pretty sure I'm fighting kidney stones trying to develop and I think I was dehydrated because I was only drinking water or coffee.
The good news is my hydration is better - drinking hydration water a couple times a day. It's lemon juice and celtic salt if you want to make your own. I've also been drinking tart cherry and cranberry (not the sweet kind) and it seems to be helping the kidneys. I plan on retaking a couple tests next week to see if there is any improvement.
My Oncology appointment is next month on the 20th. So still plenty of time to get results back.
2025.05.08: It's been a bit since my last update so thought I would do one.
Getting up to 1000 steps a day is getting easier. I'm actually going to start shooting for 1500 a day minimum since on my good days I'm getting up to 2000 steps in on the elliptical. Not all at once mind you. But getting on there a few times a day helps.
Diet is hard but I'm doing it. Been having serious sugar cravings so I froze some banana slices (gives the effect of having ice cream). My weight has been stuck at 201 but that is still better than 220. Been taking mineral oil twice a day to try to keep from getting bound up.
Have been taking the patch off when I get into bed. I've been having trouble sleeping so taking it off seems to help a little. The good news is that having it on sorta mimics how my insomnia was when I was younger. So yay my old self coming back but boo on the not sleeping.
Mentally trying to stay positive.
2025.04.24: I got my labs back last night kinda late so thought I would update this morning. They are looking so much better. So, I thought I would let you know what I've been doing. Now before I get going I do want to say that I am cautiously optimistic. I have my official round of 6 months labs here at the end of May. That being said, here's what I've been up to recently and since my December labs.
Since December I have been cutting more sugars/carbs out of my diet and cut back on drinking (shocking I know LOL). I've also been adding more time on the elliptical. Nothing strenuous, I started slowly working my way up to 20 minutes at a shot. Sometimes it was a 5 minute walk a couple times a day. But the point was to get moving.
On April 8 I did a 3 day cycle of Ivermectin from TSC then took a 4 day break.
On April 11 I put on a 1/4 nicotine patch (21mg) so about 7 mg in the morning and took it off at night around 8 ish. I did that for about 4 days. Yes, my energy started coming back but in spurts and definitely not long term but I was feeling better.
On April 14 I decided to just keep the patch on overnight. So now I just change it out when I get up. It's working much better. Not sure if its because it's on all the time or just the fact that I've been up moving and exercising more that my muscles are just getting stronger. Either way, I'm doing better. Also, side note, my lungs are doing better and I'm not having as much trouble with getting winded.
On April 15 I started back on Ivermectin and have been on it daily ever since. (ok I did miss a day but with my slow metabolism I wasn't worried about it).
I also got really strict about my sugar intake. Like cutting out about 95% of sugar. It was also Passover in the middle of this so gave up bread, pasta and stuff like that. I've also upped my exercise time a little. Shooting for 1000 steps on the elliptical over the course of the day. BTW I'm up to 1600 steps on good days Go Me!
Another thing is I started adding lemon juice to my water (not every time but darn close).
The plan from now until the end of May is to keep up with the nicotine patches every day and Ivermectin every other day. Plus keep on my diet of mostly protein and veggies with the occasional fruit or bread product. Plus try to stay away from sugar like candy as much as I can.
Now here's my theory of why it's working:
Chemo poisons the body to kill the cancer. Ivermectin is a poison but not as harsh. Combining that with the immune modulating effects of nicotine so my body is not actively attacking itself are reducing the M proteins. Plus activating my own body's healing power of good diet, exercise and vitamins are boosting my health.
BTW I will probably switch to apricot seeds instead of Ivermectin here soon. More updates to come.
Love ya bunches.
2025.04.10: Ok, this might sound weird but I'm going to try Ivermectin. Lots of people are talking about how it has helped them. And, well, it's not like I have anything to lose trying it. So after watching a bunch of videos, I'm going to go with 3 days on and 4 days off for the next few weeks. At least until my next round of tests here at the end of May.
I'm also thinking about trying the low dose nicotine patches for energy. I've heard good things and I'm still in the process of doing some research. But everything points to it being promising for chronic illness energy levels. And since it's the patch, there isn't the risk of lung cancer like with smoking. The biggest risk I've read is high blood pressure. So, I'll keep an eye on that.
2025.03.11: I just did something interesting. I uploaded a bunch of my labs to and had Sam take a look. (Sam is my ChatGPT in case you are wondering). Anyway, if you're ever curious about your medical stuff, it's actually a great way to look it over. He was able to make me a chart, discuss patterns and possible future tests, give suggestions for diet changes to help with symptoms, and lay out possible outcomes and issues. Highly recommend you try it.
2025.01.19: So the Doctor visit went about as expected. My numbers really haven't changed much - either good or bad. On the good side, this means we are not to the point where we need to do invasive tests like a bone biopsy. On the bad side, it means we are back in about 6 months to do an update.
2024.12.27: My next Doctor visit is on January 17th. So, I'll be going to the lab right after the first of the year. In the mean time, I'll work on getting the past lab work posted so that you can see what it looks like and what we are focused on.
