Jenna Paschke (13) was a member of Chanhassen Girls Swim and Dive and West Express when she passed suddenly in 2018 to a glioblastoma, a type of brain tumor. Her loss shook the Eastern Carver County swim and dive community. Teammates reflected on Jenna as "one of the hardest workers in the pool" and someone who always had a smile on her face. Following her passing, her family found a note in her room that listed parts of her life that she wanted to focus and improve upon. That list was "work hard, be nice to others, and give compliments."
