Swimming Lettering Policy

Minimum lettering times:

200 Freestyle 2:07.77

200 IM 2:23.44

50 Freestyle 27.52

100 Butterfly 1:06.46

100 Freestyle 59.32

500 Freestyle 5:41.63

100 Backstroke 1:05.92

100 Breaststroke 1:15.76

There are other factors taken into consideration when awarding letters:

Athlete qualifies for varsity sections AND meets a lettering time in a minimum of one individual event
Athlete meets attendance policy
- Attends 90% of practices and meets unless excused by the coaches
Athlete brings a positive mindset and attitude to the team
Athlete demonstrates good sportsmanship
Competes the entire season

Diving Lettering Policy

Diver must have a full 11 dive list - including one voluntary and one optional from each of the five categories

Minimum Points Requirements (any combination below):

Achieves a score of 150+ points twice during a 6 dive competition

Achieves a score of 250+ points once during a 11 dive competition along with a 150+ point 6 dive competition

Coaches Discretion: Coaches hold the right to be discretionary towards who will be awared a letter. Athletes who meet the minimum time or points requirement but does not consistently meet the other criteria may be awarded a letter on completion of their senior year.
