New Charta

New Charta (Charta 2.0.) is one of the most economically powerful country to date. As it stands as a successor for Ancient Charta, the city has bloomed life and technology to the world. For it contributed to the Post 7/20 period. The terroist attack from before had made the single largest impact of it's time. After the tragic turn of July 20th, 2019, humanity was decimated in Ancient Charta. As one of the most fatal attacks to ever occur, all that was left were dark and atrocious memories of the bombing of a city. A fear of dying once more from a terror attack. No one had the capability to say there reactions to the fall as all were sick & poor. The fall led to one of the worst economic down-crashes for society as a whole. A civilization would deteriorate at an immense rate from the terror attack. People like Captain Phasma & V for Vendetta were gone. Influencers such as Junsa would be there to only tell a portion of what he knew. It would take decades for someone to speak up and create a new change to the country once more...

Brief Timeline of New Charta

The Reinstate

From Hamelin Adler discovering New Charta to the attacks of 4/17, the Reinstate period marked a wave of new technology and historical events. Most notable the long duration of Quarantine and the tragic turn of the century, the past had set up the future for fortunes to come. President Renson had just taken in charge for the new country and it was the start of an era that would be famous for it's many classical events.

World War II

With President Renson now murdered and the stock market changing and deceased, it was time to end rain revenge on the Malum Empire. As it currently stands, World War II was considered one of the darkest points in Charta history and especially for the world. After several historic events such as the Great Genocide or Shatian, the second world war had become one of the largest events in Charta history. It sparked 2 new eras and killed ____ people.

A New Era

"There is no such thing as now, only soon." - President Renson

After the tragic fall of Ancient Charta on July 20th, 2019 it seemed as if Charta would never be spoken again. For decades, poverty plagued the nation and experienced the worst downfall in human history. Nothing could have foreshadowed the tragic events that lead up to the extinction of Ancient Charta. By the time the new year came, the city that thrived became the city that failed. all who looked upon the civilization were crushed by injustice. The terroist Immortal Man was still in hiding. It would take years for them to finally take him down. With nobody to lead the forgotten city, hope was no longer found. All that there was is rubble and ashes. Those who were once superiors were now dead. No country could have had the power to revive the city. The only people who were lucky enough to survive were miles away from the site. Everyday that goes by, life falls more and more. Nobody had the hopes of an angel to rain down new land upon the poor people.

However, a blessing in disguise did just that; Settlers and homeless people saw something that could have never become a reality. An island of hope and creation, a land of independence. It was soon discovered that this land would be the last thing standing in Ancient Charta - Solium Palace. After all of the destructive chaos that terrorized the worlds wealthiest nation, it was a new wave of construction and innovation. This time, it was the good in humanity who would build the world back to peace. No longer the destructive force of evil to rain down terror in the world.

The First Step

"The first person to ever make history is the first to disclose human life. It's never too late to establish your quest to explore." - Hamelin Beckett

The people who had first discovered it made it for him/her to rule as the first leader in New Charta. Only and unstable system of running a city was seen. No one was a leader yet. It would take years for a position to be reached in Charta. A man named Hamelin Beckett was the first person to step on the island. Like the moon-landing, it was iconic and legendary. One small step for man - a word that would be used when being the first to see a landmark or a wonder of the world. With this, Hamelin Beckett stepped with pride and succession. However, he was not going to achieve the record just for being the first man. Ambition to step away from the wreckage of Ancient Charta left him with only the opportunity to regrow, He once stated, "We must have the succession of nature - regrow at all natural causes." He soon became tempted to be more than just a figure of fame - a leader of democracy and strength. With the remaining people to survive in the wreckage, hope was minimal. However, the will to continue and the strength of a new-found leader gave him a task to create change into Charta. An influencer for the rest, and a father figure for years to come...

The Rise of New Charta

After the stabilization of Charta, the next step would be to begin working on the main criteria's for a natural civilization. that meant that roads, streets, and infrastructure had to be built within a span of 5-8 years. However Charta advanced faster than any city in history could ever achieve; by already expanding the bedrock of the island and building skyscrapers in a matter of a few weeks, it quickly caught up with the rest of humanity. By the time much of the Charta Republic was stabilized, the Government kept advancing south to make more room for future tourists & residents. The Stock Market made immense increase as well, rising from only 100s of dollars to billions of dollars. With cities only being progressively fast, Charta built half of there city in 1 year. Faster than Dubai and more economic than the U.S., it seemed as if the civilization were to be unstoppable.

Quarantine

When the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic struck, the world went into immediate lockdown. Spreading from Wuhan, China to Italy, and arriving at the U.S.A., Stock Markets and financial business went into chaos. Millions of people were unemployed, resulting in a major economic downfall larger than previous epidemics such as S.A.R.S. With cases of Covid-19 rapidly increasing, all that was left for people to do was stay at home & wear a mask when outside in public. However, this enraged people who began to protest for their freedom and rights. Nobody had appreciated this law and persuaded others to "fight for chivalry and injustice." It was then on that it soon became unstoppable. The forces of the American mindset made them look like a reality TV show in front of billions of people. By then, America had become the epicenter for diseases and Covid cases.

However, in the Republic of Charta, the virus was handled much differently than the rest of the world. With the news being already spread across the globe, Charta had decided that it should temporarily be on lockdown. It would take only a month or two before business was brought back to normal. Safety rules were strengthen and people followed all orders as demonstrated. Knowing that they could be infected, nobody had the will to complain about Quarantine which resulted in a peaceful treaty to be safe and follow the guidelines for a short amount of time. Little to know people were bias with this law and made themselves relaxed for a short amount of time. The economy was stable, and unemployment had become a small minority to Charta. They stayed home in the duration of the time the world was handling the pandemic. For them, they had seen something this catastrophic before. Experience and genius had made them clear of how to survive this new wave of chaos & disease. Even when current world events are taking place, the Government made sure that rule were strict in order to continue on decimating the S.O.I.M. while still taking safety precautions during Covid-19. During the war on terror, rules were strict when attacking other opponents. For both opposing sides to remain safe while fighting, battles were minimized for both civilians and military men. As war decreased, the spread became less contagious. Cases of the Coronavirus were very minimal. In fact, Charta had become one of the very first country to have little to no cases. With this stability of health, production on human activity could continue, Life progressed without concern over Covid-19. As Captain Phasma once said, "When there is virus, there is fear. When their is doubt, there is escalation. Virus can be both - doubt & escalation. It only takes the tenacity of mortal stupidity to make it contagious." No major losses occurred, and the city had once again return back to it's casual lifestyle. From then on, the Coronavirus pandemic had only become a mythical story to them. The pandemic was no more.

Charta Flag

"The building is a symbol, as is the act of destroying it. Symbols are given power by people. Alone a symbol is meaningless, but with enough people, blowing up a building can change the world." - V for Vendetta

After the attacks on Ancient Charta, it was time for the nation to show their true colors & nationality. President Renson wanted a simple yet meaningful flag that could represent Charta in every single perspective. After several years of designing and speculation, a design for a red, blue, and gold colored banner was considered. With red & blue stripes bonding with each other smoothly, a centered gold star was added to show the republic's wealth and economic power. The Chartan Flag was defined as a "Sign of human determination and symbolism." As it means to show that a legacy is made by an idea; big or small, it will have an impact of some sort. The Chartan Flag has become one of the most symbolic banners to date and was used in several historical events in New Charta. it is widely known as one of the most beautiful flags in Charta history.

World War II

"There's two sides of life: Good & Evil. The only difference is that Evil blends itself from Good. We never seem to notice it." - President Anderson

After years of development and growth, New Charta had reached its highest growth of wealth and power. By proving the world wrong and reestablishing itself from major battles and catastrophes, life in New Charta had become a place for technology and money. The surge of Charta grew in the trillions of dollars, the most the country has ever achieved. No one had doubts about it going wrong, it was only succession and innovation that proved unstoppable.

On August 19th, 2020, a group of extremists known as Malum made an attempt to crash the system into a dystopian city. With President Renson being their opposing enemy, it was time to make change - for the worst. By kidnapping the president and restricting certain blocks of the street, Malum murdered President Renson This resulted in a new surge of conflict. A broken system and a fallen economy only made one thing clear; a second world war is approaching. People signed up for the military and prepared themselves to go out an fight for their country. No one had doubted Malums intelligence. However, their enemy had scored for something much more different than others.

After the Great Genocide Attack, the tragedy of Shatian, and the final events of the second world war, Charta had one itself from Malum and ceased for the empire to fall and never return for even as a thought. Two new eras had been conceived; the Malum Era & the Golden Era. It was time for Charta to regroup itself once again.

The Burrows of Charta:

In New Charta, it was designed for the island to be split into 5 separate sections; Financial, Capital, Memorial, Central, & Billionaires Playground. All cities have a key role in society. Without one of them functioning or unstable, it could result in a loss in economy and entertainment. With each burrow having their respectable infrastructures being placed, it helped the city revolve itself to create equal trading.

Charta Republic

To begin with, the capital of the mega-city is the Charta Republic. Located North of the island, it is a place for residential business to grow. With NREL owning the majority of the city, the skyline of the Charta Republic is envy to the world. Home to the gothic formed Solium Palace and the location of the historic landmark of the Empire State Building & the Chrysler Building, it considered "the Heart of Chartan culture & society."

Billionaires Row

As one of the most expensive public lands to own, Billionaires Row is home to some the richest historical figure in the world. From a long road of deserted streets to a mega-world of technology and culture, it is fondly recognized as the "Billion dollar city-state." Billionaires Row didn't advance during the ages of Quarantine, but late started to have skyscrapers pop up. Recently, the Chartan Skycity Plaza had made the street more famous than it ever was.

Times Square

With several burrows located across New Charta, the center-face of the city is Times Square. As one of the smallest places to be formed, it grew up to be a land of trading and luxury. Times Square has been the location of business and trading, along with being the bridge of the Chartan Republic and the Financial District. A mega-city in the sky, the land of pop culture and classical events. Times Square went from a small land of investment to a playground for tourists.

Financial District

Home to one of the most iconic places in Charta - the Financial District is the center-piece of trading and marketing. The Financial District is best well known for it's iconic views and skyscraper. Located between the 4 burrows, it made its debut in a unique way. From the Financial Centers in the near side of Billionaires Row to the classical World Trade Center, the city is home to icons and cultural events. From 9/11 to 7/20, it has shown the resilience of human society after bouncing back from 2 of the worst tragedies in global history. The Financial District is also home to it's tallest skyscraper in Charta - One World Trade Center. Reaching over 7ft tall, it is currently ranked in the top 3 tallest paper buildings and in the top 5 strongest & sturdiest building to date.

Memorial Plaza

Home to the remembrance of the worst terroist attack in history, The Memorial Plaza is a wide area of dedication and resilience. The people of Charta had come in deep silence, noise of culture and music is muted, all that people can hear is water cascading over the plaza. With the 7/20 Memorial being the center face of the site, it came to be known as "Hell's Heaven." People grieve for the loss of life, others swear revenge against the terroist Immortal Man. All that was there was a forest of trees making you feel in a separate location of only a vivid memory of July 20th, 2019. The site was dedicated to the fall of Ancient Charta. However, with new found technology, the site will be redefend by a plaza of complex skyscrapers to see. What was once destroyed by the Devil has risen to the stars.

2. Thriller

As another song from the "King of Pop," his Thriller music video also went into the charts as #2 on the Musical Records.

Billie Jean

Michael Jackson (1959-2009) was well known for his title of "King of Pop." He won a total of 8 Grammys in one night and still holds the record of the best-selling album of all time. In New Charta, he achieved #1 on the Musical Records as of 2021 with his music "Billie Jean."

3. Beat It

Placed in top 3 of the Musical Records Charts, "Beat It" also became a popular music video in New Charta.
