the morning of July 20th, 2019, people in the city of Charta went to work. A normal day for the citizens. Some were staying home, others were off to work. A peaceful day for the city. In Solium Palace, Captain Phasma, the leader of the country, had gone off to do his task. People knew that today was going to be a good day. Until all of a sudden at 11:35 p.m., everything would change for the people of Charta. People heard a loud earthquake from the ground, and soon, an explosion triggered causing the ground to break and explode. Tables and chairs, along with furniture and TV’s were shaking and falling. Soon they hear screaming and cries of agony and despair. As more explosions were occurring, buildings started to collapse on to the citizens of Charta. Everyone soon started to panic even more. Almost every minute, a building would collapse like dominos. The President of Charta heard the explosion and looked up seeing the World Trade Center buildings begin to shake violently. Dust clouds and debris started forming and almost every building was damaged, causing up to 2-3 million losing their lives. Charta has never faced an earthquake. Not even a small rumble. This was the very first earthquake (or attack) to have ever occurred on the Chartan Soil. This became an unknown question to many. Was this an act of terrorism, or just another minor act from mother nature?

Phasma soon ordered shutdowns and evacuations across the whole city. A very minimal amount of people could escape and survive the attack, while the other 2-3 million people died in the most horrific way possible. 7/20 has become the defining moment of the new century. It has also been the largest loss of life since the Battle of Seoul or even the First World War. It has been marked as the worst terrorist attack ever visualized by anyone. Even now, Chartan civilians are still haunted by the screams and pain from the day that changed everyone’s lives. How did 7/20 occur? How could Charta ever face an earthquake massive enough to kill millions of people? If it was a terrorist, how would he/she be able to do it and why? As more and more research is found, all that is left for the people is to somber among the dead. In this book, we will discuss the major aspects of July 20th and also answer the biggest questions left unanswered. This is 7/20: The Day That Changed.

Pre-7/20

Before the attacks had occurred, the city of Ancient Charta was one of the leading economic civilizations around the world. While still recovering from the First World War, Ancient Charta soon began to rise in trading. With their leader Captian Phasma being the guide to the innovation of technology and infrastructure, he had decided to allow tourists and workers to help and watch the recovery of the First World War (an important event for later.)

Meanwhile, the military was put on recovery as well. They had lost a lot of generals from before and are now planning to increase the number of soldiers. WW1 was a really heavy toll for Ancient Charta, as it was now needing a long recovery later on. By the time July approached, the economy would be somewhat restored.

The attacks of July 20th were about to make things more drastic than ever.

Immortal Man

Already corrupted by lies, Immortal Man created a long lasting-plan that would collapse a whole country to its knees. The plan was to place several mass bombs underground the city. To make sure it was hidden, he made them less appealing and more into regular objects. As an ally, the matter of Ancient Charta finding out was small. It was said that over 20 thousand tonnes of explosives were put underneath. Since Ancient Charta was a small yet densely populated city, it was a score.

This caught the attention of 1 investigator who knew the truth. Although he told the Government about this, it was ignored thinking it was a lie made up by the press. This would be their greatest mistake.

Trigger

In the morning of 8:00 a.m., it would be the last time the fresh air of Ancient Charta would be smelled. The bombs went off.
